Microsoft Office 365 is a (sometimes called Microsoft 365 or Office 365) is a Web-based version of Microsoft’s Office suite of enterprise-grade productivity applications. Office 365 is delivered to users through the cloud and includes Exchange Online for email, SharePoint Online for collaboration, Teams (formerly Skye for Business) for unified communications, and a suite of Office Web Apps, Web-based versions of the traditional Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Whats great about using Office 365 is the diverse set of licenses available. You can see and compare the most commonly used plans here. Where we find it excels (pun intended) is you can license on a really granular level which means you don’t have to buy into more expensive licenses when you only need 1 or 2 features licensed. This is amazing compared to its competitor Google G Suite who takes a less flexible approach, offering a limited set of licenses types.
As it holds such a dominate place in the market, every application wants to integrate in one way or another with Office 365 services. Integration with other Microsoft applications are seamless. There is a service called Microsoft Power automate (previously known as Flow) which helps automate steps based on trigger events that happen.
Data security is a major worry for managers and business owners with a mobile workforce. Microsoft has optional data security measures through Azure that allow you to track and secure documents from anywhere in the world.
Microsoft has included a financially backed SLA with a 99.9% uptime guarantee with every Office 365 subscription. No matter how skilled your internal IT staff is, most companies can’t come close to 97% uptime! We are strong believers in leveraging what the cloud and businesses like Microsoft can do, which help elevate your business.
